Worse and Worse

November 13th, 2009 | by jruss |

I’m pretty tired so I’ll make this short and sweet. It’s very difficult as a Warriors fan to stay positive when all you see on the court is a brand of basketball that mediocre at best played by individuals who do not seem passionate about the game (with the exception of Turiaf of course).

And to read about Stephen Jackson, who apparently isn’t wanted by his teammates but whose salary makes it very difficult to trade. Then to hear about Monta Ellis having a screaming match with Don Nelson.

These are our two best players for crying out loud. If I had a magic wand, I don’t even know what I would do to fix this team. It seems like some good pieces are there.

But overall, it’s beginning to feel like years past when free agents wouldn’t play for us, when we had rotating players in and out for short periods of time and when we were a joke in the NBA.

This is not looking good and I don’t think the NBA will let us play Minnesota and Memphis a couple of times a week.

I will say that I am glad I am not in Larry Riley’s shoes. Good luck, buddy. Make me a believer again!
