Your New Starting Center for the Golden State Warriors Is…

December 18th, 2009 | by jruss |

Vladamir Radmonivic…Wow, it is almost as painful to write it as it is to watch. We all know that Radmonovic was the “prize” of the Steven Jackson trade, right? I guess he has to be because the other player we received, Raja Bell, played one whopping game before being shut down for three months due to a bad wrist or something.

I know that Ronny Turiaf isn’t far from returning and Andris Biedrins is close behind but imagine if you are the Suns, the Spurs, the Lakers, heck even the Kings or Clippers getting ready for the game against the Warriors and you see that they get to play against “Mad Vlad”. You think other teams aren’t licking their chops? I know I would be if I was someone like Chris Kaman I would be visualizing a 30 point, 15 rebound night at least.

Of course it would lessen the pain a bit if Vlad actually made some shots – or in the case of the Spurs game…made A shot (he was 0-8 from the field).

To be fair, I have seen some games where Vlad has played OK. But he is no longer a starter in this league let alone a starting NBA center. Oh well, gotta make do with what you’ve got right. And, I guess this serves me right for complaining about Mikki Moore. My bad!
